Recruitment Process
At Codex, our recruitment process is designed to find candidates who are aligned with our values and genuinely passionate about what they do. If you apply through our adverts, they aim to provide an honest and detailed picture of the role and our organisation. Although we often engage in headhunting activities or you may come to us as a referral from our team, so you might not have had the opportunity to view our advertisements. Hopefully, you find yourself on our website and are able to learn more about us, but don’t worry—our recruitment process will cover all the details for you too.
This initial conversation is an opportunity for you to learn more about Codex, showcase your interest in the role, ask questions, and evaluate if we are the right fit for you. We strive to be as authentic and upfront as possible, discussing salary information, your personal background, and what you are seeking in a role early on. This ensures that we are all on the same page and prevents any misalignment at the end of the recruitment process.
Before your interview, you’ll receive “Why Codex” information about our values, projects, and what sets us apart. During the interview, you will meet at least two Codex team members—one focusing on values and culture, and one on technical expertise. We aim to keep our interviews conversational and engaging, and we’re looking for clear, concise answers with examples from your past. We’ll also provide an honest view of what it’s like to work at Codex. Remember, interviews are a two-way street, so come ready to ask your own questions.
In the second interview, you will have another chance to meet more of our team or the client’s team you may work with. This interview will follow a similar format to the first, with different team members providing various technical and cultural perspectives.
This is the final stage of the process, so don’t leave any stone unturned. While we conduct standard employment reference checks for new hires and police checks as required by certain clients, we encourage you to ask any remaining questions you may have. Hit us with them!

This is your opportunity to review the details, ask any final questions, and officially join our team.
